Kim Kardashian wore all's fair to the New York City premiere in a gray corset gown by Ashi Studio, and the dress took more than 500 hours to make. The look arrived on a night built around the cast of the Ryan Murphy legal drama, with Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, and Glenn Close in attendance.

The gown came with the kind of construction that turns a red-carpet outfit into a production line. Ashi Studio said its team spent more than 500 hours on the dress, bringing together work on the corset, lace, cords, and crocodile leather in one garment.

The label described the creation in unusually specific terms: "The creation brings together the expertise of multiple artisans, from the intricate construction of the corset and the precise application of lace to the delicate arrangement of each individual cord and the meticulous craftsmanship involved in working with crocodile leather," The detail matters in a premiere setting because the clothing itself becomes part of the business of launching a season, not just the backdrop for it.

Law Roach and Paris

Ashi Studio first showed Kardashian the gown during a fitting in Los Angeles, then completed the design at its Paris atelier with Law Roach. That sequence explains why the finished look felt less like a single dress and more like a built piece: a structured bodice with molded cups, a fitted waist, sheer panels, and thin cords that wrapped around her arms before dropping down the skirt.

Kardashian added a matching leather collar that covered much of her neck, along with diamond stud earrings and a diamond ring. She wore her dark hair in a sleek ponytail with two loose strands framing her face, finished with smoky eye makeup and a pale-pink lip.

Hulu on November 4

Monday's premiere also put the ensemble in front of the show's core cast, including Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, and Glenn Close. The second season of the Ryan Murphy legal drama premieres November 4 on Hulu, so the New York City appearance now functions as part of the release run rather than a one-night style stop.

The practical read is simple: the dress is the story only because it pairs a high-effort construction with a launch moment that is still ahead of the audience. When a gown takes more than 500 hours, the clothes are doing the marketing work too.
