Charlton’s Triumph in the Individual Pursuit
Josh Charlton, aged 22, also achieved a landmark victory. He secured Great Britain’s first world title in the individual pursuit since Bradley Wiggins in 2008. Charlton upgraded from a silver medal last year, finishing over three seconds ahead of Denmark’s Rasmus Pederson to claim gold.
