Thomas Ruzzano, an 18-year-old, was at Mizner Park watching a movie with his girlfriend when the storm hit. Without hesitating, Ruzzano jumped into the water to assist those stranded. In an interview with WPTV, he recounted his experience, stating, “I went from car to car, probably six or seven people, just making sure everyone was okay.” His efforts included helping an elderly man who was stuck inside his vehicle.
