Pistons Adjust Lineup as Veteran Forward Sits Out Against Grizzlies
The Detroit Pistons will adjust their lineup as veteran forward Tobias Harris sits out in their upcoming game against the Memphis Grizzlies. This marks the first game Harris will miss this season, following a right ankle injury sustained during a recent match against the Dallas Mavericks.
Tobias Harris Injured
Harris briefly left the game in Mexico City but returned to play 36 minutes. He contributed 11 points and six rebounds. However, the ankle sprain will prevent him from participating in the matchup against the Grizzlies.
At 33 years old, Harris has been a key player for the Pistons in his 15th NBA season. He has been averaging:
- Points: 13.5
 - Rebounds: 6
 - Assists: 2.8
 - Shooting percentage: 39.4%

Lineup Changes
In Harris’s absence, Isaiah Stewart will start as a forward. This will be Stewart’s first start of the season. He boasts averages of 9.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game. He will join teammates Cade Cunningham, Duncan Robinson, Ausar Thompson, and Jalen Duren on the court.
Additional Player Updates
The Pistons will also be without guards Marcus Sasser and Jaden Ivey during the Memphis game. Both have not made their season debuts yet:
- Marcus Sasser: Recovering from a right hip impingement.
 - Jaden Ivey: Rehabbing after an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee on October 16.

This adjustment represents the first change to the Pistons’ starting lineup this season. The team will aim to navigate these challenges as they prepare for their matchup against the Grizzlies.
