It is with great sadness that the family of John Vos announces his unexpected passing. He died at his home on Monday, November 10, 2025. John was a resident of Burford and was 83 years old at the time of his death.
Honoring the Life of John Vos
John Vos leaves behind a loving family. He was the cherished husband of Linda Vos (née Amy) for 52 years. Together, they raised two children: Hayley Vos, who is married to Kevin Malloy, and Doug Vos.
Family and Community Impact
John was well-loved by his family and friends. He is survived by ten siblings and is mourned by many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by one sister.
Community Involvement
Throughout his life, John was actively engaged in his community. He participated in the Woodstock Men of Praise Choir and was a member of the Burford Masonic Lodge No. 106. Additionally, he was a dedicated member of the Bethel Reformed Church in Brantford.
Funeral Arrangements
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home located at 134 King Street, Burford. Viewing will take place on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The funeral service honoring John will be conducted at Bethel Reformed Church, situated at 506 West Street, Brantford, on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Pioneer Cemetery in Burford.
