‘KPop Demon Hunters Balloons Set to Debut in Macy’s Parade’
Fans of “KPop Demon Hunters” can look forward to a spectacular sight this Thanksgiving. The 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature balloons of popular characters from the Netflix animated film. Derpy Tiger and Sussie are set to make their debut on Thursday, November 27.

The balloons were put to the test in a recent preview by Macy’s. This film has gained immense popularity, accumulating over 325 million views worldwide within just 91 days. It has become the most-watched film in Netflix history.
Major Achievements of KPop Demon Hunters
- The film inspired a line of toys.
- It yielded the longest-running Billboard #1 hit by a girl group in the 21st century.
- Six characters from the film were among the top 10 most searched Halloween costumes.
Parade Highlights
This year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will showcase a total of 32 balloons, three balloonicles, and 27 floats. Additionally, there will be:
- Four specialty units
- 33 clown groups
- 11 marching bands
- Various performance groups and musical stars
The event will also celebrate the arrival of Santa Claus, marking the start of the holiday season.

Notable performances will feature EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, who lend their voices to the HUNTR/X group from “KPop Demon Hunters.” Opening the parade will be Cynthia Erivo, renowned for her role in the “Wicked” films. Other performers include:
