As the holiday season approaches, communities across the Waterloo Region prepare for festive celebrations. The Santa Claus parades in the region promise to bring joy and excitement, with local events scheduled throughout late November and December 2025.

Time: 1 p.m.
Route: Begins at Northumberland and Inglis Streets, proceeding down Northumberland, turning left onto Stanley Street, and concluding in front of the Ayr Library.

Elmira Kiwanis Santa Claus Parade
Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
Time: 10 a.m.
Route: Travels down Arthur Street from William Street to First Street.

45th Annual Hespeler Santa Claus Parade
Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
Time: 12 p.m. (noon)
Route: Starts from Groh Avenue to the corner of Guelph Ave and Sheffield Street. The Cambridge Food Bank will collect non-perishable food items and cash donations during the event.

Baden Santa Claus Parade
Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
Time: 1 p.m.
Route: Begins at the corner of Sandhills Road and Snyder’s Road, traveling down Snyder’s Road to Foundry Street. Donations for the Wilmot Family Resource Centre will be accepted.

Fergus Santa Claus Parade
Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Route: Starts at the A.O. Smith Parking Garage, proceeding down Hill Street West, Maple Street, St. Andrew Street West, and St. David Street North. The theme is “A Fairytale Christmas.” Volunteers will collect food and cash donations for the Centre Wellington Food Bank.

Time: 6 p.m.
Route: Begins at Norm Hill Park, traveling along Peel Street to the corner of Union Street.

22nd Annual Christmas Tyme in Wellesley Parade
Date: Friday, December 12, 2025
Time: 6:45 p.m.
Route: Departs from the Wellesley Recreation Complex, turning right onto Nafziger Road, left onto Maple Leaf Street, and ending at the Community Centre.
These Santa Claus parades will not only celebrate the holiday spirit but also encourage community involvement through the collection of food and cash donations. Residents are excited to welcome Santa Claus as he makes his rounds through the Waterloo Region.
