Following the parade, which concluded around 6 PM, chaos erupted on Water Street. A car plowed into a group of fans, resulting in injuries to over 130 individuals, including eight children. The scene was alarming, as emergency services responded rapidly to assist the victims.

Charges Against Paul Doyle

The suspect, Paul Doyle, 54, hails from Croxteth, Liverpool. Arrested on the same day, Doyle is a former royal marine and a father of three. He has been charged with 31 offences related to the incident.
