Delta’s decision comes in response to ongoing logistical challenges regarding aircraft and crew availability. Santa Barbara Airport’s marketing supervisor, Lauren Gonzales, emphasized that these factors influenced the airline’s service adjustments.

The termination of the Atlanta route means Santa Barbara passengers headed for Georgia and other East Coast destinations will now have to connect through Salt Lake City. This airport has a robust schedule, offering over 330 daily flights to approximately 100 nonstop destinations.
