2025 Gotham Awards: Complete List of Winners

The Gotham Awards commenced the 2025 awards season in New York City with a ceremony held at Cipriani Wall Street. The event was livestreamed on El-Balad’s YouTube channel, allowing fans to participate in the festivities. This year, Paul Thomas Anderson’s film “One Battle After Another” led the nominations with six, breaking the record for most nominations in Gotham history. Competing films included “Hamnet” and “Train Dreams.”

This year marks the third anniversary of lifting the budget cap for award eligibility. Previously, films with budgets exceeding $35 million could not be considered. The Gotham Awards have a historical significance, with past winners like “Spotlight” (2015), “Moonlight” (2016), and “Everything Everywhere All at Once” (2022), all of which later won the Oscar for Best Picture.
