In a candid social media post, Burns explained his mentality during the episode. He stated, “I knew he doesn’t like me bringing any cocaine or anything around, so I found me some cocaine and whiskey and I got messed up, man.” His condition deteriorated rapidly, leading him to crash into a concrete structure, causing significant damage to his vehicle.

Burns revealed the desperate measures he took while under the influence. He shared that after his phone was stolen, he resorted to using whiskey to mix with the drugs. “Instead of putting water in the spoon, I started using whiskey. I was shooting Jim Beam whiskey and cocaine,” he noted.

In a moment of despair, he contemplated ending his life. “I decided, ‘Why don’t you just kill yourself, Billy?’” He went on to stab himself multiple times with a pocket knife.
