The lawsuit, filed by an unnamed individual referred to as Jane Doe, was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled in the future. This dismissal was accepted by the court, officially closing the case.

Details of the Lawsuit Against McGregor

The original lawsuit accused McGregor of assaulting a woman in a bathroom during a Miami Heat game amid the NBA Finals. Following the allegations, law enforcement conducted an investigation; however, no criminal charges were brought against the fighter.

McGregor’s Response

Throughout the legal proceedings, McGregor steadfastly denied all allegations. His attorney, Barbara Llanes, stated, “After a thorough investigation at the time, the State’s Attorney concluded that there was no case to pursue.” Llanes further indicated confidence that the case would ultimately be dismissed, which has now come to fruition.

While this recent lawsuit was dismissed, McGregor has faced other legal challenges. In a separate case in Ireland, he was found liable for an alleged sexual assault from 2018.
