The situation began escalating with a verbal exchange at Simon’s vehicle, which soon turned physical. Witnesses stated that Fisher allegedly brandished a knife during the altercation, swinging it at Simon.

Eyewitness Rob Parker recorded parts of the incident, describing it as a chaotic confrontation. Parker mentioned that it all began when the officer cut off Fisher while exiting a car wash. The video captured the two vehicles swerving and cutting each other off prior to the confrontation.
