SR 410 Reopens Fully to Crystal Mountain
State Route 410 (SR 410) has fully reopened following extensive repairs due to significant damage caused by severe weather in western Washington. The roadway, located east of Enumclaw, had initially closed on December 10 due to flooding and erosion.
Quick Repairs and Reopening of SR 410
Following the closure, a partial reopening occurred on December 16. At that point, a temporary single-lane gravel bypass was constructed to allow limited access. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) employed Active Construction, Inc. for emergency repairs to expedite the reopening process.
Details of the Repair Work
Crews worked diligently to complete repairs, finishing the job in just 37 hours. Ryan Heathers, owner of Active Construction, remarked on the efficiency of the team and the meticulous planning involved. The road serves as a vital access route to Crystal Mountain Resort, especially during winter.
Changes at Crystal Mountain Resort
