Bensenville Man Charged with Attempted Kidnapping of Jewel Employee with Special Needs
A 53-year-old man from Bensenville has been charged with attempted kidnapping, aggravated battery, and unlawful restraint following an incident involving a woman with special needs at a local grocery store. Ismael Andrade Pino was taken into custody after allegedly attempting to abduct the victim, a 20-year-old employee at Jewel-Osco.

The attempted kidnapping occurred on a Monday night at the Jewel-Osco located on York Road in Bensenville. The victim was gathering shopping carts in the parking area when Andrade Pino approached her.
Allegations Against Andrade Pino
According to DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin, Andrade Pino instructed the woman to come to his vehicle. When she refused, he reportedly blocked her path and grabbed her by the neck while insisting she enter his car.
