Six ‘Harry Potter’ Stars Officially Return to Wizarding World
Over 25 years since the debut of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” the beloved wizarding world continues to evolve. While several original cast members have moved on, notable actors are returning in various capacities, whether reprising their roles or introducing new characters.
Returning Stars to the Wizarding World
- Luke Youngblood – Youngblood, who portrayed Lee Jordan in the first two Harry Potter films, voiced a new character, Everett Clopton, in the video game “Hogwarts Legacy” (2023). This game is set in the late 1800s.
- Tom Felton – Felton reprised his role as Draco Malfoy in the Broadway production of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” which takes place 19 years after the events of “Deathly Hallows.”
- Jamie Campbell Bower – Bower returned as Gellert Grindelwald in “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” (2018). He had previously portrayed the character in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part I” (2010).
- Hebe Beardsall – Beardsall reprised her role as Ariana Dumbledore in the same film.
- Warwick Davis – Davis is set to return as Professor Filius Flitwick in the upcoming “Harry Potter” television series, connecting the new adaptation with the original films.
- Arabella Stanton – The actress will portray Hermione Granger in the new series while also voicing the character in the “Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions.” This makes her the first performer to embody the character across two formats simultaneously.
About the Upcoming Television Series
The new “Harry Potter” television series is currently in production and will span seven seasons, adapting each of J.K. Rowling’s books. An extensive cast includes:
