Exclusive Screening: ‘Train Dreams’ with KCRW Partnership
El-Balad, in collaboration with KCRW and Vidiots, will host a special screening of “Train Dreams” on January 8. This event features the film presented in 35mm format, offering a cinematic experience that attendees won’t want to miss. Following the screening, there will be a discussion with co-writer Greg Kwedar and cinematographer Adolpho Veloso.

“Train Dreams,” based on a novella, explores the life of Robert Grainier. He is a logger and railroad worker navigating the complexities of early 20th-century America. The story captures moments of beauty and depth amidst rapid societal changes.
