A Special Invitation

The invitation to the dinner came somewhat unexpectedly. Julia explained that she and her husband, Daniel Moder, were initially uncertain about hosting. “We kind of weren’t sure what we were getting into when we said, ‘Why don’t we have everyone come?’” she said. However, when Guadagnino suggested the idea, Julia felt that it was serendipitous: “I was just about to say that.”

Efforts Worth It

Despite the hard work involved in organizing the event, Julia expressed that the effort was rewarding. “We never stopped cooking, cleaning,” she noted about the preparations, adding that every detail was meticulously attended to. “It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. It was beautiful.”

Roberts is nominated for the Best Performance by a Female Actress at the 83rd Golden Globes. This year’s ceremony marks a significant return for her, as it is the first time in seven years that she has walked the red carpet.
