Authorities are currently investigating a burglary incident at the residence of Greg Biffle, a renowned figure in NASCAR, following a tragic plane crash that claimed his life and that of his family. This unfortunate event took place just weeks after the crash in North Carolina.

Details of the Burglary at Greg Biffle’s Home

Deputies arrived at Biffle’s estate in Iredell County promptly after receiving a report last Thursday around 6 p.m. Officials disclosed that a backpack and a significant sum of $30,000 in cash were reported missing from the property.

Not only was cash taken, but firearms and valuable memorabilia were also stolen, according to Dara St. John, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

This burglary incident comes on the heels of a devastating plane crash that occurred on December 18. Greg Biffle, his wife Christina, and their two children tragically lost their lives, along with three other individuals, while attempting to land at Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina.

The aircraft involved, a Cessna C550, reportedly belonged to GB Aviation Leasing, a company owned by Biffle. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are both conducting investigations into the cause of this tragic incident.
