BTS Announces New Album Title as K-pop Comeback Unfolds
BTS, the globally acclaimed K-pop group, is set to make a grand return with their new album titled “ARIRANG”. This announcement comes after nearly four years away from the music scene. BigHit Music, the group’s management agency, confirmed the release date for March 20, 2026.

BTS World Tour Announcement
In an exciting development, BTS has announced a world tour scheduled from April 2026 to March 2027. This tour will kick off in South Korea and will cover over 70 dates, including locations across Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and Europe. This will be their first series of headline performances since their “Permission to Dance on Stage” tour in 2021-2022.
The Hiatus and Military Service
The group’s hiatus was primarily due to the mandatory military service that all able-bodied South Korean men must complete. This includes BTS members, who each served in the military except for rapper Suga, who fulfilled his service duties as a social service agent due to a shoulder injury. Jin, the eldest member, was the first to enlist in 2022 and was discharged in June 2024, with Suga being the last member to complete his service in June 2025.
The tiered enlistment approach allowed members to work on solo projects while the group was on break, laying the groundwork for their anticipated return.
