Man Surrenders in Connection with Neighbor’s Death

Following the incident, David Grullon Jr., also known as “Davicito,” surrendered to the Danbury Police Department on the following Thursday. Investigators had issued a warrant for Grullon’s arrest as they delved deeper into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Details of the Shooting Incident

According to police reports, a gun was fired from within a nearby townhouse. The bullet penetrated the wall and struck Quispe, who was inside his own home when the tragedy occurred. Emergency services rushed him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Charges Filed Against Grullon

As a result of the investigation, Grullon is facing multiple charges, including:

  • Second-degree manslaughter
  • Criminal possession of a pistol/revolver
  • Two counts of risk of injury to a minor
  • Illegal discharge of a firearm
  • Second-degree breach of peace
  • First-degree reckless endangerment

His bond has been set at an amount of $1 million. The police have characterized the incident as isolated and assured the public that there is no continuing threat.
