Villanova University has unveiled a new facility dedicated to enhancing the lacrosse experience for both men’s and women’s teams. The Villanova Lacrosse Cinema opens a transformative space aimed at improving player development and team performance.

Key Features of the Villanova Lacrosse Cinema

Located on the second floor of the Villanova Stadium press box, this new cinema is designed to serve both teams. The renovation was funded entirely through donations, with significant contributions from the Gary M. and Patricia B. Holloway Family Foundation, along with support from parents and alumni.

Coaches’ Perspectives

Both coaching staffs expressed their gratitude for the new facility. Women’s lacrosse head coach Jill Batcheller emphasized its role in aiding student-athlete growth both on and off the field. She highlighted the importance of having advanced tools for teaching and learning.

Men’s lacrosse head coach Mike Corrado shared similar sentiments. He noted that the cinema will serve as a state-of-the-art film room, enhancing their ability to review game footage and meeting with recruits.

Upcoming Competitions

As both teams prepare for the 2026 lacrosse season, they are looking forward to their opening games in February. The men’s team will kick off the season against Penn State on February 7, while the women’s team will host Towson the following day at Villanova Stadium.
