Middle-order batter Vihaan Malhotra played a pivotal role, remaining unbeaten on 109 runs from 107 balls. His innings was marked by patience and solid shot selection. Complementing him was Abhigyan Kundu, who scored a fluent 61 off 62 balls.

Batting first, India posted an imposing total of 352 for 8. This score was aided by an aggressive start. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi put on an explosive performance, scoring 52 off just 30 balls, helping India reach 100 runs within 11 overs.
