Hitchin Cricket Club Exceeds Fundraising Goal with Macmillan Darts Marathon
A team from Hitchin Cricket Club has successfully exceeded their fundraising goal ahead of the Macmillan Darts Marathon. This initiative is aimed at providing support to individuals affected by cancer. The team, aptly named “Hitchin Cricket Club – Cancer is a Tw@!”, is part of a nationwide charity darts challenge.
Successful Fundraising Efforts
The challenge encourages participants to either play darts for up to 12 hours or reach a target of 100,000 points to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Remarkably, the Hitchin team has raised £1,805.42, surpassing their initial target of £1,500 by approximately 120%.
