Both players are now honorary captains for the All-Star event, having transitioned from the AHL to the NHL successfully.
Achievements of Honorary Captains
Patrick Sharp enjoyed a storied career with the Chicago Blackhawks, winning the Stanley Cup three times (2010, 2013, 2015). He played 163 games in the AHL as a Philadelphia Flyers prospect. Kris Versteeg also made a significant mark in the AHL, competing in 139 games for the Boston Bruins and Blackhawks before claiming two Stanley Cups with Chicago in 2010 and 2015.
Prospects Making Their Mark
