Snowboarder and Figure Skater Compete for Medals
Lee Chaeun, a skilled Korean snowboarder, and Cha Jun-hwan, a talented figure skater, are set to compete for medals at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. Both athletes will participate in key events in northern Italy, showcasing their skills and pursuing Olympic glory.
Snowboarder Lee Chaeun’s Medal Pursuit
On February 11, Lee Chaeun will take part in the men’s snowboard halfpipe final at Livigno Snow Park. This event features 12 competitors, including Lee, with the final beginning at 7:30 p.m. local time. Each finalist will perform three runs, and the best score from these attempts will determine their final standings.

On the same day, Cha Jun-hwan will perform his free skate routine in the men’s singles figure skating event at the Milano Ice Skating Arena. He previously ranked sixth in the short program with a score of 92.72 points, achieving his season’s best.
