Court Appearance and Bail Conditions

During his first court appearance on February 11, Judge John Walton agreed to release Kingston on a $100,000 bond. However, $10,000 cash was required to be paid immediately to the court. Kingston is set to appear virtually again on February 25.

  • No contact with the alleged victim or witnesses involved in the case.
  • All social media applications must be deleted from his phone.

Background of the Allegations

The allegations came to light when the victim, who was 20 at the time, reported the sexual assault to authorities at St. George Regional Hospital on February 27. Kingston maintained that all interactions with the woman were consensual.

Investigation Progress

The St. George Police Department conducted a thorough investigation that lasted over a year. This included gathering digital evidence and interviewing involved parties and witnesses. The findings were then forwarded to the Washington County Attorney’s Office for review.

Upcoming Legal Proceedings

Further legal actions are scheduled with a preliminary in-person hearing set for April 13, 2026, in Fifth District Court in St. George. Kingston’s defense attorney, Cara Tangaro, will receive the state’s evidence ahead of this date.
