KSA Ministry of Defence Acquires Four C-27J MPA Aircraft for Maritime Patrol
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defence has made a significant acquisition by ordering four C-27J Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) from Leonardo. This decision is aimed at enhancing the Kingdom’s capabilities in maritime surveillance and patrol operations.
C-27J MPA Acquisition Details
The procurement of the four C-27J MPA aircraft marks a strategic step for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, making them the 21st operator of this aircraft type globally. Deliveries are anticipated to begin in 2029.
