Glenn Close Dazzles in Chic Floral Outfit at BAFTAs

At the BAFTAs, Glenn Close captured attention with her distinctive style on the red carpet. While she wasn’t nominated this year, her presence was nonetheless striking. Close wore an exquisite black and silver ensemble designed by Erdem.

The outfit featured a boxy-cut jacket in a deep black shade, beautifully highlighted by silver floral embroidery along the hem and cuffs. The floral motif extended to the midi skirt, where it adorned a central seam and flowed asymmetrically down one side, offering a contemporary twist.

Although Glenn Close did not win a trophy, she is familiar with the BAFTAs. She has received nominations twice. Her first nomination came in 1990 for her role in *Dangerous Liaisons*, where she played the scheming Marquise de Merteuil. Her second nomination was in 2019 for *The Wife*, where she portrayed the wife of a Nobel Prize winner grappling with her life choices.
