Rachel Reid Delays Release of Next Heated Rivalry Novel

Rachel Reid, the author of the popular hockey romance series, has announced a delay in the release of her upcoming novel, Unrivaled. This delay is primarily due to her experiencing the pressures of newfound fame and the progression of her Parkinson’s disease symptoms.

Delay of Unrivaled Release

Initially scheduled for a fall release, Reid has shifted the anticipated launch date to June 2027. In a recent Instagram video, she expressed her desire for the book to reflect her best work. “There’s nothing more important to me than Unrivaled being the best book it can possibly be,” she stated.

Health Challenges

Reid revealed that her health, particularly the worsening of her Parkinson’s disease, has impacted her writing process. Diagnosed in 2023, she noted that the physical challenges have slowed her productivity significantly. “Sometimes the universe hands you some worse stuff to balance it out,” she reflected.
