Claude Dubois Undergoes Vocal Cord Cancer Surgery
Claude Dubois, the renowned 78-year-old singer-songwriter, underwent surgery for vocal cord cancer on February 27. According to his agent, Nathalie Charest, he is currently recovering well under the circumstances. However, due to the surgery, Dubois is unable to speak and will need some time to rest. As a result, he has had to cancel two performances from his ‘Dubois solide en liberté’ tour, scheduled for April 25 and 26 in Brossard. These shows will be rescheduled as he hopes to return to the stage soon.

In a recent statement, Dubois expressed his eagerness to attend the premiere of the concert ‘Dubois Biographie symphonique’, set to take place at the Maison symphonique de Montréal on April 7. His participation in the event remains uncertain as he continues to recover from his surgery.
