We ask that you lift Todd's children and family in prayer and keep them in your thoughts as they face the days ahead without him. Todd will forever be part of this boat, this crew, and this brotherhood. Though we lost him far too soon, his legacy will live on through his children and in every memory we carry of him. Rest easy brother, till we meet again."

Deadliest Catch Season 22 Production Halted After Todd Meadows' Death

Deadliest Catch was in production on Season 22 when the incident occurred. The Aleutian Lady, led by Captain Shelford and his crew, was one of the vessels being captured for the show. Production subsequently concluded following Todd Meadows' death.

According to Todd Meadows' Facebook page, the Montesano, Washington native began working as a deckhand on the Aleutian Lady in May 2025. He was the newest member of the crew and had been fishing for less than a year when the tragedy occurred.

Todd Meadows is survived by three sons. Kennady Harvey, the mother of his children, wrote an emotional tribute on Facebook: "I don't have words, nothing I do or say will bring you back. Not only were you my children's father, but you were my best friend."

Harvey added: "You passed doing what you loved, and that brings me a little bit of comfort knowing that. I promise I will never let the boys forget you. We will talk about you every day, visit you, show them every picture and video and all of our cool spots."
