BTS’ ‘ARIRANG’ Tops U.K. Albums Chart

BTS has achieved a remarkable milestone with their latest album, ARIRANG, topping the U.K. Official Albums Chart as of March 27. This marks the group’s third No. 1 album in the U.K., solidifying their status in the music industry.

BTS’s Comeback and Concert

The band made a grand return on March 20, 2023, with a free concert in Seoul, South Korea. This performance attracted an impressive audience, garnering 18.4 million viewers worldwide via Netflix. The concert followed a four-year break for the members to complete mandatory military service and pursue solo endeavors.

Chart Performance

With ARIRANG, BTS joins the ranks of their previous chart-toppers: MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA (2019) and MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 (2020). In addition to their album success, the single “Swim” debuted at No. 2 on the Official Singles Chart, marking a new career peak for the group and their fifth top-10 single.

Upcoming Global Tour

BTS is set to kick off a world tour, with the first shows scheduled for April 9 in Goyang, South Korea. The tour will then head to North America, starting April 25 in Tampa, Florida. This tour includes performances at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later this summer.

Other Notable Chart Performances

Meanwhile, Harry Styles’ album Kiss All the Time, Disco, which held the top position for two weeks, has slipped to No. 2. His release had the biggest opening week of 2026 so far and marked a personal best for him.

Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving debuted at No. 3, following its success at the 30th MOBO Awards, where it was named Album of the Year. Luke Combs achieved recognition with his album, The Way I Am, which entered the chart at No. 4. Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits collection, 50 Years: Don’t Stop, completes the top five.
