Microsoft Grows Xbox Game Pass Cloud Gaming Past 500 Million Users

About 87 percent of Xbox Cloud Gaming traffic in 2026 now comes from mobile devices. That puts smartphones and tablets at the center of the service, not living-room hardware.

U.S. consumers are also using native Xbox apps pre-installed on Samsung and LG smart televisions. That gives Microsoft a way to reach players without a console purchase or a separate device setup.
