Man Arrested Near Prince Andrew’s Norfolk Home After Wolferton Report

A man has been arrested near prince andrew's home in Norfolk after police were called to Wolferton at about 19:30 on Wednesday over a report of intimidating behaviour. Norfolk Police said the suspect was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and possessing an offensive weapon, then taken to King's Lynn for questioning.

Wolferton near Sandringham Estate

Police were called to the village of Wolferton, near the Sandringham Estate, after a man was reported behaving in an intimidating manner. A balaclava-wearing man allegedly ran towards Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor while he was walking his dogs near Marsh Farm on the estate.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and a member of his private security rushed to their car and drove away. The suspect allegedly tried to chase after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the security staff.

King's Lynn questioning

Norfolk Police said the suspect remains in custody after questioning in King's Lynn. The arrest happened close to Marsh Farm, where Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor moved after leaving Royal Lodge in Windsor.

That move followed his departure from Royal Lodge in Windsor, linked in the background to his association with Jeffrey Epstein, the late sex offender. The Wednesday evening arrest now leaves a security incident near a high-profile royal residence as the police line of inquiry continues through the suspect's custody in King's Lynn.
