Finland Tops Eurovoix Forecast for Eurovision Song Contest Semi Final

Eurovoix has Finland first in its combined forecast for the eurovision song contest semi final in Vienna tonight. The ranking gives a clearer read on which entries are expected to move into Saturday's final, with Greece second and Sweden third in the combined table.

Vienna’s top three

Finland finished first in the combined restructured forecast after Eurovoix divided its Eurojury data to isolate the countries competing tonight. Greece followed in second, Sweden came third, Croatia was fourth and Moldova rounded out the top five.

At the start of this month, Eurovoix revealed the full results of its annual Eurojury event, then rebuilt the numbers for tonight's field. That left the combined forecast as the most useful guide in the set because it reflects only the acts on stage in Vienna, rather than the full wider jury pool.

Jury and online split

Greece led the restructured Jury Vote with six sets of 12 points, while Finland also took six sets of 12 and finished second there. Croatia came third in the jury tally, followed by Belgium and Sweden, and the jury list pointed to Serbia, Montenegro, Lithuania, San Marino and Portugal missing the final.

Finland then held first place in the restructured Online Vote, 43 points ahead of Sweden, which finished second with 151 points. Finland received 14 of the 18 sets of 12 points online, while Greece placed third, Moldova fourth and Montenegro fifth.

Top 10 pressure

Both the jury and online tables placed the top five overall among the 10 best entries tonight, and both also kept Belgium and Israel inside that group. Montenegro edged into eighth overall on the back of online votes, while Serbia narrowly made the top 10 through the same route.

The split between jury and online support leaves the forecast more concentrated than a straight winner's list. Finland still has the cleanest path to the top, but Greece's six sets of 12 points and Sweden's 151-point online total show the order behind it is tight enough that the final qualification mix could still reshape the field for Saturday.
