Volvo Ex60 starts at $59,795, undercutting XC60 PHEV
Volvo has revealed pricing for the volvo ex60, with the 2027 EX60 P6 RWD Plus starting at $59,795 and first deliveries set for later this summer. The entry model gives buyers a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive setup before Volvo adds a Core version soon.
That base price lands below the XC60 Plug-in Hybrid’s $62,545 MSRP. It also buys 369 hp, 354 lb-ft of torque, and a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.7 seconds from an 83-kWh battery pack.
Volvo EX60 P6 RWD Plus
The P6 RWD Plus is the entry point for the new SUV. Volvo says it can travel up to 307 miles with 20- or 21-inch wheels, or 295 miles on 22-inch wheels.
All P6-badged EX60 models ride on fixed suspension with passive adaptive dampers. Standard equipment includes a 15.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, the latest version of Volvo’s Google built-in software suite, an 11.4-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 21-speaker Bose sound system.
Volvo also includes a panoramic roof, a 360-degree camera, three-zone climate control, and Pilot Assist. The package puts the EX60 squarely in the compact luxury electric SUV fight as next-generation models from Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz press into the same space.
Volvo EX60 pricing tiers
Volvo’s next step up is the P6 RWD Ultra, which starts at $66,395 and costs $6,600 more than the P6 RWD Plus. Volvo also plans a P10 AWD Plus, which shares most of the standard equipment but adds a front motor for dual-motor all-wheel drive.
The P10 AWD Plus makes 503 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque. That gives shoppers a clear split between the less expensive rear-drive model and a quicker all-wheel-drive version before Volvo expands the lineup further.
For buyers comparing Volvo’s own electric and plug-in hybrid options, the starting price and equipment list make the new SUV an immediate alternative to the XC60 Plug-in Hybrid. The first deliveries later this summer will show whether the EX60’s pricing and range land with customers in the way Volvo intends.
