Go Transit reports minor Union Station delays after signal issue

By 9 a.m. on Wednesday, GO was reporting minor delays. That left riders with a simple choice: build in extra time or risk missing their planned connection through the downtown terminal.

The delay notice applied to trips in and out of Union Station, one of the busiest transfer points on the network. GO Transit kept riders pointed to the same immediate step while it investigated the signal issue: allow for extra travel time.

For passengers already on the way, the practical reading was straightforward. Minor delays can still affect arrival timing through Union Station, and GO had not moved beyond warning riders and monitoring the Lakeshore East line issue.
