SportsLine’s Memorial Tournament Model Targets $80,000 Parlay — Espn App
SportsLine’s app model ran 10,000 simulations of the 2026 Memorial Tournament and surfaced a longshot parlay that could pay over $80,000 on a $10 bet. The release gives bettors a specific card to evaluate before Thursday’s start at Muirfield Village, where scoring has stayed tight in recent years.
Mike McClure’s model
DFS pro Mike McClure built the proprietary model behind the Memorial Tournament picks. SportsLine says the system has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020, and it has nailed 17 majors entering the weekend.
The company says the model also hit the 2026 Masters, the PGA Championship, and the Open Championship. That run is the main reason its Memorial card is getting attention before a ball is struck at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio.
Scheffler, Cantlay, and the pricing
Scottie Scheffler opened as the +310 favorite, and Patrick Cantlay was listed at +3300 to win outright and +435 for a top-5 finish. The pricing leaves the market leaning hard toward Scheffler, while Cantlay’s numbers still give him a path to cash a smaller finish bet.
The tournament setup adds another wrinkle. SportsLine noted that the last three Memorial winners, including Scheffler, failed to break 10-under-par, which points to a course that has not been handing out easy scorecards.
Thomas over Griffin
One of the model’s sharper plays was Justin Thomas over Ben Griffin at +100 in a matchup prop. SportsLine said Griffin had three top 25s over his last 13 individual events, while Thomas had top 15s in each of his last three tournaments.
The model also selected an outright winner and three golf props that return at least +450, which is how the parlay payout climbs above $80,000 on a $10 wager. Bettors still have to decide whether they want the upside of a stacked longshot ticket or the narrower risk on one of the shorter prices before Thursday’s tee time.
