Dylan Larkin Trade List Expands Beyond Three Teams — Tsn Subscription

Dylan Larkin’s tsn subscription trade request has moved beyond the original three-team list, with Detroit Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman asking agent Pat Brisson to widen the field. The change gives the sides more room to work, and it also opens the door to more than one possible trade structure if Detroit decides to move its captain.

Yzerman and Brisson

The original list included the Minnesota Wild, Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers. Brisson was receptive to expanding that list to some degree, and the Red Wings and his camp are working through the request in a respectful manner.

That matters because the market is no longer limited to the first three clubs. The Dallas Stars have checked in, even though they were not part of the original group, and that creates a broader set of options for Detroit if it pursues a deal.

Minnesota and Dallas

The Wild were singled out as a team that may not have the parts to satisfy Detroit in a straight-up trade for Larkin. That makes a third-team arrangement a real possibility, with another club helping make the assets fit for the Red Wings.

Dallas adds another layer to the request. A team that was not on the first list is now in contact, which is the clearest sign so far that the conversation is no longer confined to Larkin’s preferred landing spots.

Market pressure around July 1

The wider trade discussion sits alongside other notable league talk. Auston Matthews is expected to stay with the Toronto Maple Leafs next season unless something dramatic changes in the coming weeks, while his agent, Judd Moldaver, has not formally told the Leafs that. The conversations between Moldaver and new GM John Chayka have been cordial.

Alex Tuch also appears more likely to head to market before July 1, though the Buffalo Sabres have not closed any doors on an extension. For Detroit, the immediate issue is Larkin’s list, and the latest development is simple: the first three teams are no longer the only ones in play.
