Have Spacesuit Will Travel Release

Two North American legs are scheduled later this fall, with the first leg spanning all of September and the second picking back up in early to mid-November, and the single is Sleep's first since 2018's The Sciences. Sleep wrote that "the music and art are alive after the decades of obstacles that Sleep has overcome," framing the record-and-tour package as a coordinated return to activity.

Al Cisneros Names New Lineup

Tuesday, June 23rd, at 10 a.m. local time begins the artist pre-sale via Ticketmaster, followed by a general on-sale on Thursday, June 25th, at 10 a.m. local time; buyers should expect standard Ticketmaster purchase flows for tickets. The band also announced Issue #1 of Sleep Comic Book — produced with Dave Kloc and Arik Roper — which introduces The Marijuanaut from Planet Iommia and depicts the Marijuanaut encountering The Weedian, and the limited-edition bundle includes the comic, a signed bookplate, and a flexidisc of "Have Spacesuit Will Travel."

Ticketmaster Pre-sale and On-sale

said in spring 2025 that he had been "unceremoniously" fired from the band, and the new recording does not feature founding member/guitarist ; Al Cisneros offered that he "wishes Matt the best on his earth-bound maneuvers." Matt Pike had publicly hinted as recently as March 2024 at upcoming recording and performing plans alongside Sleep, so his absence on the new track creates an immediate personnel narrative around the 2026 itinerary.
