Aditi Singh on the clearance

DCP Aditi Singh said the court complex and the secretariat were cleared as a precautionary measure. That response kept both government premises empty while police checked the site.

Search teams in Panchkula

A dog squad, bomb disposal team and special police teams searched the premises. They found no suspicious object or explosive material, and the premises were declared safe after the sweep.

Cyber cell investigation

The cyber cell has launched an investigation to find the source of the e-mail. For people who use the District Courts and Mini-Secretariat, the immediate issue was access to both sites on Friday, and the remaining question is who sent the message that forced the evacuation.
