Paula Reid began work Thursday as MS NOW’s chief White House reporter, nearly four months after leaving. The hire puts her into the network’s Washington Bureau at a time when it is expanding its White House coverage.
Sudeep Reddy said in an internal memo that Reid will bring deep experience to covering the administration and serve as a key reporting voice across MS NOW’s Washington Bureau. He also said she will help drive investigative and enterprise journalism.
Sudeep Reddy memo
Reddy wrote that Reid joins the network’s team of White House reporters and producers covering the Trump administration day in and day out since the Washington Bureau was established. He said the group has kept working while navigating attempts to limit its ability to report from the White House.
He added that Reid and the team will work to deepen coverage of the White House and Washington and deliver authoritative, news-breaking journalism.

Reid previously worked at and CBS News. At CBS News, she held roles including White House Correspondent, Correspondent, Reporter, Digital Journalist, Researcher for CBS Evening News, and Intern at the CBS News Investigative Unit.

MS NOW White House team
The White House reporting group already includes Scott Foster, Vaughn Hillyard, Akayla Gardner, Laura Barrón-López, and Jake Traylor. Reid’s start gives the bureau another named reporter at the White House and adds another voice to the administration beat.
For readers, the practical change is straightforward: Reid is now on the White House beat for MS NOW, and her role reaches beyond daily coverage into investigative and enterprise work. The next shift to watch is how her reporting fits into the bureau’s broader coverage of Washington.
