National Theatre Announces Full Cast for The Playboy of the Western World
The National Theatre has announced the full cast for its much-anticipated revival of “The Playboy of the Western World.” This classic Irish play by John Millington Synge is part of a notable inaugural season directed by Indhu Rubasingham.
About the Production
Directed by Caitríona McLaughlin, the production pays homage to the rich heritage of Irish drama within British theatre. The play is set to open at the Lyttelton Theatre on December 11, 2025, following previews from December 4, 2025, until February 28, 2026.
