Mark Wahlberg Purchases $37 Million Mega-Mansion in Florida

As winter approaches, celebrity snowbirds are flocking to warmer climates. This season, actor Mark Wahlberg joins the ranks, having purchased a luxurious mansion worth $37 million in South Florida.

Palazzo di Lago: Mark Wahlberg’s New Home

The impressive property, known as Palazzo di Lago, was designed by Aldo Stark and was originally listed for $45 million. Located in the elite Stone Creek Ranch enclave of Delray Beach, this gated community is commonly referred to as “Billionaires Row.”

Property Specifications

Spanning 26,000 square feet, the estate features:

  • Seven bedrooms
  • Ten full bathrooms
  • A chef’s kitchen with Italian gray marble and walnut cabinetry
  • A grand foyer with lacquered wood and stone accents

Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, acquired the estate fully furnished, allowing an effortless transition as they prepare for Palm Beach’s social season.

Amenities and Features

Palazzo di Lago offers an array of luxurious amenities:

  • Primary suite with mother-of-pearl inlaid floors and a hidden safe room
  • Plush home theater
  • Cigar room equipped with an advanced air purification system
  • Auto gallery for car displays
  • Saltwater lagoon pool
  • Lighted tennis court
  • Oversized chessboard

A New Chapter in Florida

This purchase marks the Wahlbergs’ first residence in Florida. Since 2022, they have resided primarily in Las Vegas but also own a two-acre property in Idaho. Previously, they lived in Beverly Hills, where they bought a $5 million estate in 2001, made significant upgrades, and sold it for $10.3 million in 2013. Currently, the home is back on the market for $21.8 million.

Following their time in Beverly Hills, the family moved to a custom-built mansion in the exclusive Beverly Park neighborhood. They sold this property to Paris Hilton for $63 million earlier this year.

Stone Creek Ranch: A Secure Retreat

Stone Creek Ranch is becoming a sought-after haven for high-net-worth individuals due to its privacy and security. Notably, hedge fund manager Steven Cohen purchased a 21,000-square-foot home there for $21.6 million. Recently, another luxury home inspired by Ferrari sold for $50.5 million, with additional properties soon to list for around $75 million and $100 million.
