U.S. Africa Command Leader Highlights Lasting Partnership in Morocco Visit
On October 20-21, 2025, U.S. Africa Command Commander Gen. Dagvin Anderson visited Morocco. This visit highlighted the ongoing partnership between the United States and the Kingdom of Morocco.

One of the highlights of the visit was a tour of Ben Guerir Air Base. Anderson observed areas dedicated to:

- F-16 training
- Airborne and Special Operations Forces training
The air base serves as a central hub for multinational exercises, including the prominent African Lion exercise. This underscores the versatility of the U.S.-Morocco partnership.
