Tragedy struck the Latin music community when 22-year-old Maria de la Rosa was fatally shot in an ambush in Northridge. This incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning, around 1:25 a.m.
Details of the Incident
The Los Angeles Police Department reported that de la Rosa was shot while sitting in a car on Bryant Street near Tampa Avenue. Multiple rounds were fired at the vehicle, and witnesses observed two men approaching the car just before the shooting.
Following the attack, de la Rosa was rushed to a nearby hospital but sadly succumbed to her injuries. The condition of the others in the vehicle remains unclear, and the suspects have not yet been identified.
