Limited Seating on West Side for Tonight’s Illini Game
With winter weather impacting much of East Central Illinois, Gies Memorial Stadium in Champaign is gearing up for tonight’s Illini game against Northwestern. Snow has created challenging conditions, prompting crews to work diligently to clear the field ahead of the 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
Limited Seating for Tonight’s Game
Due to the weather, fan seating is restricted to the west side of the stadium. This limited availability means that many supporters will be unable to take their usual spots. Tailgating lots are largely empty, with only a few dedicated fans braving the elements in Lot 31.
