Vance Joseph to Interview with Raiders, Cardinals, Giants, Titans This Week
Vance Joseph, the defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos, is poised to explore head coaching opportunities this week. With the Broncos enjoying a first-round bye, Joseph’s situation allows him to interview with several teams currently seeking a head coach.
Potential Teams for Vance Joseph’s Interviews
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Joseph is set to meet with four NFL teams:
- Las Vegas Raiders
- Arizona Cardinals
- New York Giants
- Tennessee Titans
Joseph’s Coaching Background
Joseph has a history as a head coach, having led the Broncos from 2017 to 2018 with a record of 11-21. Additionally, he has experience with the Cardinals, where he served as defensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022 under Kliff Kingsbury.
Following Kingsbury’s departure after the 2022 season, Joseph returned to Denver, continuing to build on his coaching career. All initial interviews regarding potential head coaching positions will be conducted virtually.
Next Steps for Interested Teams
Should any of the interested teams wish to hold an in-person interview with Joseph, they will need to either wait until the Broncos are eliminated from the playoffs or until the break between the conference title games and the Super Bowl.
As Vance Joseph prepares for these interviews, he hopes to leverage his extensive experience to secure a new leadership role in the NFL.
