Bombardier Expands Capacity with New Montreal Manufacturing Center

Bombardier has announced plans for a new manufacturing center in Dorval, Quebec, to enhance production capabilities for its business aircraft. The facility will cover 126,000 square feet and represents a significant investment of around $100 million. It is slated to open before the end of 2027.

New Facility to Meet Increasing Demand

The Dorval center will be strategically located near Bombardier’s existing operations in western Montreal. This expansion aims to address rising demand for the company’s business jets and improve overall productivity.

Job Creation and Economic Growth

Construction of this facility is expected to create numerous skilled job opportunities. The project has garnered support from the Quebec government, with Economy Minister Christine Fréchette announcing a $35 million repayable loan through an Investissement Québec program.
